On April 8th Paul Richardson, Martha Burton and I joined Renewal founder Carol Newell at the Loden Hotel to accept Renewal's award for being named one of the most innovative companies in B.C. Now, in its second year, BC Business Magazine convened a panel of 13 experts from across many sectors to help them come up with the stories that haven't been told, projects that are having a real impact today and ideas with the potential to change our world tomorrow.  It was a festive evening filled with some of the brightest leaders across the province inclusive of other recipients, Westbank Projects Corp. for the iconic Woodward's Development in our backyard, SVI alumnus and Now Public CEO, Michael Tippett, and Christine Day, CEO of Lululemon Athletica, Inc

Renewal Partners was lauded for being a North American leader in socially responsible investing and for our integrative approach over the past 18 years of providing investments, grants and successful collaborations for long term societal solutions.  It was a proud moment for my colleagues and I as we reflected upon the work that has been done and for the opportunities that lie ahead with Renewal2 and other initiatives.  We toasted to our efforts and to all of those who've helped to implement the vision and strategy that Carol and Joel set out to do almost two decades ago.
