Judy Rebick, Sam Gindin Chair for Social Justice & Democracy at Ryerson University, has first-hand experience in making change happen. She was instrumental in the National Action Committee on the Status of Women in the 1990s, and has a strong background in journalism. With a new book due out soon, she will talk about new approaches to social and political change that build on the knowledge and practices of the women’s movement but are going well beyond it.  Judy talks about power at a personal, social, and political level and how they can interact towards a politics of transformation.
