Start-up & Growth Resources for Your Changemaking Enterprise

Want to start or grow your enterprise but not sure if you should be bootstrapping, applying for a grant or looking for an investor? All changemaking enterprises (for profit and not) need resources to start and grow.  In this session experienced funders will:


• Demystify resources: What is bootstrapping? Who are 'angel' investors? What are they interested in?
• Delineate the different stages or an organization and outline possible resources available to you
• Provide examples of creative funding

Dawn Bowles has 20 years experience in strategic business development, a Masters Degree in Responsible Business Practice, and hands on entrepreneurial experience as the Founder ofDreamBank, an online gift registry service that aims to make gift giving more meaningful, and less wasteful.  Dawn is passionate about social change, and committed to using her learnings to support the success of change-making organizations focused on long term social and environmental sustainability.
