O V E R V I E W
Habitat Enterprises is a young and growing Vancouver BC based environmental finance company. We are seeking a highly qualified Software Developer to join us in building and launching a carbon project finance platform designed to remove inefficiencies in the process of getting capital into projects that reduce greenhouse gases – known as “carbon projects.” Habitat’s IT platform will provide simple deal-flow and investment portfolio management tools for financial institutions for tracking and investigating carbon project investments.
O U R O R G A N I Z A T I O N – w w w . h a b i t a t e n t e r p r i s e s . c a
Habitat Enterprises develops and sources capital for projects that reduce carbon and create the world’s fastest
growing commodity – greenhouse gas reduction credits or “carbon credits.” The company makes money by
selling carbon credits it develops through UN-grade methane gas reduction projects and from fees taken from
securing capital for other greenhouse gas emissions reduction activities.
Habitat’s niche is in bridging the gap between North American investors and high quality Latin American
greenhouse gas emissions reduction projects. The company demonstrates leadership in its niche with 22 years of
market experience, proprietary project evaluation tools (which the company is now building into a web hosted
platform) and unique ability to mobilize capital into projects as demonstrated by the extended team’s previous
success in raising a combined USD 4 billion in project finance.
To supply the immense and rapidly growing demand for carbon credits, Habitat is developing a program of wasteto-
energy projects in Latin America, and is helping other developers secure capital for their projects. Habitat is also
expanding our operations into the emerging US carbon market.
Our mission is to make it easy to invest in carbon reduction projects so that investors seeking to invest can quickly
make the most optimal carbon project investment decisions – expediting the flow of capital into carbon reduction
and thus aiding in the prevention of global warming.
O U R V I S I O N
Habitat Enterprises is driven to channel significant amounts of capital into the solutions to climate change while
shaping new investment vehicles focused exclusively on helping investors access the opportunities generated by the
global transition to the low carbon economy.
The company's values are defined by this vision; we link economic gain with the provision of long-term social and
environmental benefits without compromising corporate performance and accountability to our clients and
investors.
It is for these reasons that Habitat seeks great performers who are driven by a strong need for achievement as well
as the desire to make a difference, and who are true entrepreneurs.

The team consists of market leading talent in carbon project design, carbon finance, and carbon asset development.

flexible and fun work culture.
