Responsibilities:
▪ Oversight of our business processes, including: database, e-commerce, accounting and office management
▪ Executive support to the Board of Directors and Executive Director
Job Description
A wide range of hands-on and oversight responsibilities of the business manager include:
Technology
▪ Responsible for database (Salesforce), e-commerce and other business processes
▪ Oversight of hardware and office network
▪ Delivery of mass emails
Personnel Management
▪ Supervision of administrative team
Executive Support
▪ Confidential secretary to the Board and assist with other board/membership related tasks
▪ Executive assistant for the President and Executive Director
Financial
▪ Oversight of books, budgets, financial reports, gaming and audit
▪ Oversight of payroll and benefits
▪ Monitoring of cashflow and investments
Legal
▪ Compliance with Society’s Act and Income Tax Act
▪ Directors and Officer’s Insurance and Comprehensive Office Insurance
Office Managment
▪ Office lease and tenancy related responsibilities
▪ Office equipment and furnishings
Fund Development Activities
▪ Assist with proposal writing and editing
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will be self-directed, energetic, committed and entrepreneurial. He/she will possess:
▪ Demonstrated communication skills and people skills
▪ Leadership experience
▪ Tech knowledge and e-commerce skills
▪ Minimum Bachelor’s Degree
