Duties include:
Passionate about protecting Manitoba’s wilderness? Gain some managerial experience while inspiring people about environmental protection. This empowering, leadership position involves a combination of both office and door-to-door educational campaign work. Engage your passion by talking to Manitobans about the opportunities and threats facing our province’s natural areas.

Qualifications:

  •     Exceptional communicator
  •     Responsible and highly organized
  •     Dedicated, positive, outgoing
  •     Self-motivated and ability to motivate others
  •     Must have valid driver’s license
  •     Keen interest in wilderness and wildlife preservation


Duties:

  •     Canvassing
  •     Team leader for up to 6 canvassers
  •     Driving the canvass van
  •     On a daily basis assigning, coordinating and tracking the streets canvassed


Knowledge of the Wilderness Committee's mandate and campaigns is an asset but is not required. Full training is provided. Hours are Monday to Friday, 3:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. with some flexibility. Canvassing builds communication skills, and environmental work helps everyone's future. Make a difference in your community and earn a guaranteed $10 to $15 per hour, with incentives for exemplary performers.
