Our office is located in the Vancouver’s Strathcona Green Zone in an innovative shared office and warehouse facility. Our green roof deck has views of the Port of Vancouver, North Shore Mountains, Railway/Gastown and the Vancouver skyline. We are part of a tight community that views collaboration as key to healthy business and economy.

To meet the needs of our growing business we’re looking for an enthusiastic and authentic person to work directly with our clients. A secondary part of the successful applicant’s responsibility will be to assist with our marketing and social media programs. Responsibilities Include:


Inside Sales

  • Follow up communications with our existing client base
  • Learning about client needs and presenting unique gift ideas/quotes
  • Managing client expectations
  • Creating sales lists and qualifying leads
  • Taking telephone orders and responding to website email enquires
  • Preparing files for production (invoices, shipping labels, greetings)
  • Maintaining CRM system through Salesforce.com

Marketing + Social Media

  • Managing our e-newsletter, creating and curating content
  • Contributing to our blog, facebook, youtube and twitter streams
  • Creating brand advocates from our gift recipients and clients

Required Skills

  • Word processing and spreadsheets (Microsoft office and Google docs)
  • Client Relationship Management (CRM) software preferred
  • Adobe creative suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) an asset
  • Writing for the web as asset

This contract position will remain open until filled and will start as soon as possible. Compensation from $15 to $17/hr at 24 hours/week to start. If successful it’s our intention to transition this into a full time salaried position starting in January 2012.
