Join Women Donors Network in Boston for their post-election conference, November 6-9, 2008, as they look to the future to build a more just world. This city presents a multitude of opportunities to examine the issues of class, gender and race and learn about successful models that are transforming the progressive landscape.

  • Kickoff party with special guests Indigo Girls, Amy Ray and Emily Saliers who will share how they have combined their artistic endeavors with a long-standing commitment to social change.
  • Keynote Address by civil rights scholar and Harvard Law Professor Lani Guinier, speaking on The Intersectionality of Class, Gender and Race.
    Afternoon Dialogue, with Gina Glantz, Kate Kendall, and moderator Maria Hinojosa. They will share a Post-Election Analysis of Class, Race, Gender, and Sexuality & the Future of the Progressive Movement.
  • Closing Plenary, Where Do We Go From Here? Building a Movement and Developing a Progressive Vision for Education, Health, Economics, and the Environment, with Byllye Avery, Linda Bilmes, Winona LaDuke, Frances Lucerna, and Moderator Maya Wiley.
