Learn how to take a dramatic moment from your life or work and draw on it to create written material that can inspire others and widen your impact in the world. Gain the skills to document your experiences, express what they taught you, and structure clear and powerful pieces.
Award winning writer Linda Solomon's short stories have been published in Saint Anne's Review, Antietam Review, The Alabama Literary Review, Cimarron Review, and Gulf Coast Review. She has written for The Los Angeles Times and International Herald Tribune. Linda's career began at The Tennessean where her work was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize. She has taught writing in Europe, the United States and Canada and is the founding editor of The Vancouver Observer. Linda's reportage on activists Wangari Maathai, Medha Patkar and Noreen Kaleeba in Africa and India inspired her to help other activists take their stories out into the world, so that others can see that the actions of a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens really can change the world. www.thevancouverobserver.com
