Hollyhock lies on the sunniest southeastern beach of Cortes Island, British Columbia. Cortes is nestled at the entrance to enchanting Desolation Sound, between the glaciers of Vancouver Island and the Coast Mountain range of the mainland, about 100 miles (160 km) north of Vancouver.
