Oct 26 - 30, 2011

Presented by: Annahid Dashtgard, Constance Exley

  •     Leadership
  •     Professional Development
  •     Social Change
  •     Training

Sponsored by the Centre for Social Innovation & Anima Leadership

Too many brilliant leaders have been overcome by unrealistic workloads, cynicism and isolation resulting in burnout and depression. Social change organizations contribute to this cycle through work environments that are frequently out of synch with our progressive mandates. This deep individual and collective gap can be addressed through nurturing self-awareness, authenticity, truth-speaking, and energy management skills.

Integrating emotional intelligence skills with mindfulness practice and social change realities, explore:

  •     How to stay connected to your purpose, manage your energy, and make effective decisions in stressful environments
  •     How to work through conflict effectively; knowing when to collaborate, resist or let go
  •     How to create cultures where teams feel empowered and connected to meaningful work
  •     How to work smarter, not harder

Annahid Dashtgard is co-founder of Anima Leadership, a training/ consulting company active both nationally and internationally.
